London Missions

“The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few; therefore, ask the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into His harvest”. Matthew 9:37-38

Every week, teams of 2-3 go out to walk the streets of London searching for those whom the world has forgotten. We love those whom we meet, we share the gospel and pray with them.

If you are interested in joining a team or would like to find out more about what we do, please go to the contact page and get in touch. We would love to hear from you as the time is short and there are many who need to hear the Good News.

March

March saw the teams battle various storms, with some weeks resulting in just a single Salvation but heaven rejoices when one more comes into the Kingdom of God. One Saturday, the wind was gusting up to 70 km per hour and freezing cold. After an hour of searching, the team saw two Irish hawkers and asked if they could pray with them. One said no as he was Catholic and the other said the church had done nothing for him but he would love to receive the Lord Jesus. Joseph’s name is now written in the Book of Life. Jesus left the 99 to find that one lost sheep and what an honour and privilege, to be used to find Joseph for our King and Lord, Jesus Christ.

February

This month the teams went out to Camden, Hackney, High Street Kensington and Clapham. They faced rain, sleet, bitter cold winds but had 16 salvations and we praise God for these people.

Two salvations came from a Muslim woman who was begging and came to tears as she said the sinner’s prayer with us. The other was a young flower seller next to Harrods. When asked if she would like prayer, she said “I’m not religious sir”, and they answered “Neither are we”. The next thing she did was give her life to the Lord and blessed us with a beautiful rose each. Praise the Lord Jesus for His mercies every morning.

January

After a Christmas break, the teams gathered once again to reach the lost. They started in central London and had several salvations and unfortunately quite a few denials with a clip on the back by an intoxicated man. We thank the Lord Jesus for covering us with his blood and protection.
